What is wedding kimono?
Wedding kimono is a special Japanese traditional costume for the wedding ceremony.
The kimono (especially for bride) has more layers and parts which have more embroidery, colors and details.
It is possibly the most luxury kimono for people to wear in their life.
Even though many japanese people choose a western style wedding nowadays, but they will still dress the kimono for photo meomory.
Why you should choose us ?
We started KYOLAN from a wedding studio, so we are very experienced with wedding kimono dressing and photo shooting.
It is nearly not possible to find a wedding kimono rental in a kimono shop in a famous sightseeing spot for reasonable price.
Bride’s kimono
Bride has two type of kimono, the Shiromuku and the Irouchikake.
Shiromuku is a pure white color kimono, Irouchikake is a colorful style kimono.
*Men will be wearing Montsuki-hakama which is a special kimono for formal occasion.
Montsuki means symbol attached kimono. Hakama is a special skirt like costume for men to wear when ride a horse.

Photo plans include kimono rental fee, hair do, photo session. Each plan has different shooting time and number of customes.
Photo Session ①
69,800JPY+tax（76,780JPY）
This plan is only for 1 person (female).
Location will be around the Togetsu-kyo bridge area.
*Shooting at Bamboo forest costs extra +5,000JPY.

・Female costume can be chosen from 2 Shiromuku and 8 Irouchikake. Please check Step 2.
・Adding shooting time is possible（¥44000 JPY per hour)
・Additional fee is necessary for location request.
・Changing date is possible. (first time free)
・Photo will be delivered by email. (Usually within 1 week. Can take maximum 30days in spring and autumn season (March, April, October, November).
Photo time table
・Meet at the shop at the requested time.
・Hair do and fitting take around 1hours（takes 2 hours when add make up service）
・Walk or take a taxi to the shooting location.
・Shooting time started to count when first shutter click at the first location.
・Back to the shop.
* The whole process takes about 2 hours.
Photo Session ②
99,800JPY+tax（109,780JPY）
Special experience at fantasitc location.
Process will be fast and professional, very recommended for couples.
Location will be around the Togetsu-kyo bridge area.

Best plan for couple who wants to see more beautiful view and take photos. More relaxed schedule make it easier to capture natural moments.
Locations will be Bamboo forest, Kimono forest, Togetsukyo bridge. (Request is also possible)

Please take a look at the photos below and memorize the number of the costume so you can fill it in the request form later.
It is possible to change idea on the day of visit, but please only keep 2 choices. Trying the costume is not possible.

Step 5 Complete the request form

Please confirm content below
- For using our photo service, please send us a request by filling the form below, we will confirm the schedule and reply in 3days.
- When availability is confirmed, a deposit payment email will be delivered, the booking will be determined after the deposit payment is confirmed. If the requested day is not available, we will also send a message to suggest a different day.
- Deadline for cancelling your reservation is 3 days before the reserved day. (For example, if you reserved 24th, the deadline will be 6pm of 21st). Deposit will not be returned when the deadline passed.
- If photoshoot starts later than it was planed because of customer’s reasons, the shooting time will be shorter than the ordered plan, and will end at the time that is planed. Fee for the session will be the same as the original order without refund or discount. (For example, 60mins photoshoot starts from 11am and end at 12pm, if customer is late for 30mins, the photoshoot will be 30mins and ends at 12pm, will still be charged for 60mins session)
- Using customers own cloth is not possible
- Please let us know if you have request location. （Permission needs to be made by customer when necessary）
- Additional charge will be needed for a location that is more than 2km away from our shop.
- Photo data will be delivered by email in 1 week.（May take longer in spring or autumn season）
- Ticket fee or transportation fee of the staff’s will be paid by the costumer.
- Shooting time starts to count when arrive at the first spot.
